Veronika Renckova alias Lesana was born and had spent most of her life in Slovakia and she currently lives on Sydney's Northern Beaches, in Australia.
 

She focuses on the art for children, illustrating books, creating puppets, costumes, theatre props and her own art dolls.

 

She has run her business in creative arts since 2007.

In 2008 she received the award "Businesswoman of Slovakia" and
in 2009 "Innovative Young Entrepreneur Award of Slovakia" which is part of the global competition "Creative Young Entrepreneur Award".

​

She is also active in the non-profit sector, where she helps children to develop their creative skills in art. Through various projects, techniques and exhibitions she shares about art, traditions and folk art.

​

Through her colourful and quirky works, full of imagination and joy, she wakes up the child spirit, which sleeps in each of us.
